Saint Xavier University Welcomes New Staff Members

CHICAGO (June 12, 2001) – Saint Xavier University in Chicago, Illinois is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Kolessar as its new Director of Safety and Security and Marc R. Milligan as Director of Conferences and Facilities.

As Director of Safety and Security, Paul Kolessar will be responsible for the public safety and physical security of Saint Xavier’s campus and community. Before joining the University, Kolessar was Chief of Police in Highwood, Illinois. Prior to that he spent over ten years in the Chicago Housing Authority’s Police Department, three of which he was Commander. He also served in the U.S. Army and the Illinois National Guard. Mr. Kolessar received his degree in Criminal Justice Administration from Triton College in River Grove, IL and will complete a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice at Governors State University this winter. He lives in Hillside, IL with his wife and two children.
