CHICAGO (August 10, 2001) – Two Saint Xavier students have been awarded scholarships from the Datatel Scholars Foundation. Geno DeMarchi, Biology major from Thornton, IL, and Ann Komer, an Art major from Chicago Heights, received the scholarships.
Recipients were chosen based on an application, personal statement essay, academic achievement, and letters of recommendation. A panel of higher education professionals, presidents, and chancellors chose the recipients.
Datatel is the largest company dedicated exclusively to providing advanced information management solutions for higher education. The Datatel Scholars Foundation was established in 1990 to continue its long-standing commitment to higher education, and to give back to its client base. The Foundation awards scholarships to eligible students who attend a higher learning institution selected from Datatel’s nearly 500 client sites.
Saint Xavier University congratulates Geno DeMarchi and Ann Komer on this achievement.
