Saint Xavier University Golf Classic this Monday

CHICAGO (August 10, 2001) -- Saint Xavier University’s Fifth Annual Golf Classic tees off this Monday, August 13, 2001 at Water’s Edge Golf Club, 115th St. and Harlem Avenue in Worth, IL.

Golfers will enjoy lunch, eighteen holes of golf, dinner, and prizes. Golf begins with a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m.

Proceeds from the Golf Classic support scholarships at Saint Xavier. Last year’s Golf Classic raised more than $36,500 in scholarship money.

Golfers will enjoy a day at Water’s Edge Golf Club, which provides a course that is both challenging and scenic. With canopy-grown trees lining many of the holes, lush natural grasses, protected wetlands and dense forest, Water’s Edge is one of the most beautiful courses in the Chicagoland area.
