CHICAGO (September 17, 2001) – The Three Ladies of Xavier will be performing for the Saint Xavier Classics at Noon concert series on Friday, October 5 from 12 p.m. to 12:50 p.m. in McGuire Hall on the University’s Main Campus 3700 W. 103rd St., Chicago.
The Three Ladies of Xavier include mezzo soprano Jan Bickel, mezzo soprano Stacy Eckert, and soprano Kathleen VanDeGraaff. In addition to their professional vocal activities, all teach voice at Saint Xavier. The group will perform trios from Mozart’s The Magic Flute and Berlioz’s Beatrice et Benedict. The concert will also feature special solo performances of compositions by Gabriel Faure, Serge Rachmaninoff, and Joaquin Rodrigo.
Admission is a suggested donation of $5 for General Admission, $3 for students and senior citizens, and free for SXU faculty, staff and students. For more information, please call 773-298-3448.
