CHICAGO (September 20, 2001) -- Dr. Christopher Cooper, of Saint Xavier University’s Department of Sociology, Anthropology & Political Science, will share his personal experiences as a volunteer worker in New York City’s rescue efforts last week.
The lecture, entitled "The Aftermath of a Tragedy: Personal Experiences at the World Trade Center,” will be given at 2 p.m. today in the Board Room on the fourth floor of the Warde Academic Center (main building), 3700 W. 103rd St., Chicago.
Cooper was born and raised in New York City and is a former Washington D.C. police officer.
