Dr. Sandra Burkhardt to Speak on Peer Evaluation at Saint Xavier University
CHICAGO (October 6, 2000) – Dr. Sandra Burkhardt, Associate Professor of Psychology at Saint Xavier University, will be speaking on Tuesday, October 10 from 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. in the Formal Reception Room at the Center for Educational Practice’s Idea Exchange, "Board Certification: The Agony and Ecstasy of Peer Review." This lecture is free and open to the public.
Dr. Burkhardt, the Director of Clinical Training at Saint Xavier University, will present practical information regarding board certification by the American Board of Professional Psychology. Burkhardt will also discuss the process of submitting one’s professional work, and self, for peer review. Current research regarding the psychological effects of evaluation will be linked to her experience of peer review.
Dr. Burkhardt has spent the past year on sabbatical earning Board Certification in Clinical Psychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology.
