CHICAGO (October 22, 2001) -- Every season Saint Xavier University presents music from other cultures as part of its “Classics at Noon” series. This year Ikuko Armandi, a specialist in the Chinese flute, and Joy Hoffman, performing on Chinese harp, will perform a concert of music from China as well as selections from the western world.
The performance will take place at noon on Friday, November 9 from 12 – 12:50 p.m. in Saint Xavier’s McGuire Hall, Warde Academic Center, 3700 W. 103rd St., Chicago. There is a suggested donation of $5 for the general public and $3 for senior citizens and students.
