Replacing a Lost Cougar Card

Report a lost or stolen card to Public Safety immediately by calling (773) 298-IDID (4343).

Your card will be deactivated immediately upon notification.  Cardholders are responsible for all transactions that occur before a card is reported missing.

To receive a replacement card or to reactivate a card that was reported lost, go to Student Affairs, L208, on the Chicago campus or to the Public Safety Desk in the foyer at the Orland Park campus.  The replacement fee is $10 and will be charged to your student account.  Balances in the various University debit accounts associated with your Cougar Card at the time that your card was reported missing will be available on your new or reactivated card.

If you arranged to use your Cougar Card as a TCF Bank Card, notify the bank immediately.  Once you receive a replacement card, you will need to take it to the TCF Bank Virtual Branch located in the SXU Diner or to your local TCF Bank branch to activate your new card.
