Students, faculty and staff use a variety of primarily electronic tools to help them access, manipulate, and communicate information. Many of these tools depend upon the now ubiquitous, interactive information appliance—the workstation or the personal computer. Some of the tools are traditional such as sending and receiving letters and parcels or using a university telephone. Others, such as printers, copiers, scanners and faxes, help you convert information on a workstation or the Internet to information on paper, and visa versa. Information about using these tools at Saint Xavier is offered by the links at the left.
