Scholarship Details

The Tim Eber Memorial Scholarship is in memory of Tim Eber, son of Dean Emeritus John Eber and his wife Fran. Tim was a highly successful sales executive and business owner before he died at age 40 in 2012. The scholarship fund was created in Tim's honor by his parents, family, faculty, staff and corporate friends of the Graham School. The scholarship is given annually to a junior or senior GSM student who exhibits the character, energy, and entrepreneurial spirit that characterized Tim's professional and personal life.

Criteria

To receive this award a student must meet the following criteria:

  1. Be an admitted undergraduate student with a declared major in the Graham School of Management.
  2. Attainment of junior or senior status (Minimum 60 credit hours).
  3. Demonstrated academic achievement by maintaining a minimum grade-point average of 3.0 or above.
  4. Preference to a student with a declared interest in a sales career, marketing career or entrepreneurship.

To apply for the scholarship a student must:

  1. Submit a typed one page essay focused on the student's career aspirations including how this scholarship will be used to help obtain career goals.
  2. Submit a letter of recommendation from a Graham School of Management faculty member. The letter must accompany the application essay.

All should be submitted electronically.

*Students applying for financial aid are automatically considered for these funds. Selection is based on a student’s match with a donor’s criteria. There is no separate application process.
