The PLUS Program is designed to increase the retention, performance, and graduation of undergraduate nursing students. The components include assessing and tracking all nursing students each semester, providing academic and psychosocial support for related nursing courses, and stimulating active involvement of students in their own learning.
The PLUS Program consists of one credit hour academic courses offered concurrently with selected nursing courses beginning in the first semester of the nursing program. These courses are open to all nursing students enrolled in PLUS related nursing courses:
