Advanced Placement (AP) credit in Nursing (30sh) Policy

In order to earn advanced placement credit the student must:

  • Earn grade A or B in NURS 235
  • Earn grade A or B in NURS 239
  • Complete 12 semester hours in courses at SXU
  • Complete/petition for AP credit
  • Credit will then be posted on SXU transcript

Saint Xavier University students may be able to earn credit for required courses through examinations. Saint Xavier accepts credit from the College Level Examination Program (CLEP), Excelsior College Examinations and departmental challenge exams.
