Saturday, April 26

Spring Service Day

8 a.m. to 1 p.m., Various Service Sites

Join Saint Xavier Council for the 14th annual Service Day. Sign up as an individual or with a group of classmates and friends.

Sunday, April 27

Senior Week Mass and End of the Year Mission and Ministry Celebration

8 p.m., McDonough Chapel

Join in Sunday night mass to be recognized and to rejoice in this major accomplishment. Reception to follow with pictures from the year, special honors and refreshments.

Monday, April 28

Senior Week Kickoff

11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Diner Atrium

Kick off Senior Week and stop by the Diner Atrium to build your own ice cream sundae featuring Andy’s Custard.

Wednesday, April 30

Taste of SXU

11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Shannon Center (Parking Lot 2)

Join Saint Xavier Council for their most popular event of the year. Come with an empty stomach because you will want to sample the smorgasbord of free food. Free shirts will be handed out to the first 150 students. Guests can purchase tickets for $5 at the door.

Senior Pub Night

7 to 10 p.m., Gilhooley’s

Join your friends as you say farewell at Gilhooley’s! All seniors will receive one drink ticket and free appetizers. The first 100 seniors will also receive a Senior Week 2014 pub glass. WKQX will be on hand with giveaways and chances to win tickets to the WKQX PIQNIQ.

Thursday, May 1

Senior Toast

4:30 to 6:30 p.m., Fourth Floor Board Room

Join President Wiseman for a wine and cheese reception to close Senior Week. All graduating seniors are invited. Please contact the Department of Campus Life (L-103) to sign up for this event.

Friday, May 2

Cubs vs Cardinals Games

11 a.m. (1:20 p.m. game start), Wrigley Field

There’s nothing better than taking in an afternoon baseball game at the Friendly Confines. Join us as the Cubs face off against their bitter rivals – the St. Louis Cardinals. Tickets, including your transportation, can be purchased for $5 in the Campus Life Office (L-103).

Final Fling

8:30 to 11 p.m., Schmitt Quad
(Rain Location Shannon Rec Gym )

Don’t miss out on your last opportunity to jump on an inflatable and eat tasty treats on campus. Final Fling will be one of the last traditions you experience as an SXU student, so make sure you take advantage of this closing event for Senior Week!

Blessing of Graduating Students at
Sunday Mass

8 p.m., McDonough Chapel

Participate in a special blessing and receive a symbol of your graduation. Cake and celebration to follow.
