The University provides resources for students to access materials available on the Internet and to communicate with others using the Internet. Nevertheless, the individuals using these resources should not interpret this as the University sanctioning the available materials or their effects. The University expects it's members to show respect and caring for others. In addition, individuals should not expect the University to protect them from receipt of materials that are found offensive, from unwanted solicitations, nor invasions of privacy. The nature of sending electronic mail and posting web pages publicly exposes individual address and other personal information to anyone looking for it.
The above policies, in their entirety, are printed in the Student Handbook, which is available in the Student Affairs Office.
