Saint Xavier University believes in the importance of developing leadership skills in our students of today to lead the world of tomorrow with integrity, morality and quality of character. Leadership programming is open to any student interested in leading a student organization, getting involved in Student Government or just wanting to challenge their personal development.
Leadership programming will engage students in learning about leadership theories, teach exemplary leadership practices, provide opportunities to interact with campus and community leaders and above all – allow students to develop community and have fun!
In an effort to better prepare you as student organization leaders, the Department of Campus Life has created a student organization training that is required for all executive board (President or Chair, Vice President, etc.) members. This training will cover a variety of topics that will help each organization excel.
This training has been scheduled for multiple dates in order to accommodate various schedules. It is expected and required for all e-board members to attend one of the training dates. The following are the dates on which the training will be held:
Friday 9/21: 10:30am – 1pm Fourth Floor Boardroom (refreshments will be provided)
Monday 9/24: 2pm – 4:30pm Fourth Floor Boardroom (refreshments will be provided)
Wednesday 10/3: 6pm – 8:30 Fourth Floor Boardroom (dinner will be provided)
It is imperative that you reserve a spot 3 days prior to the training sessions that you will be attending so that there is an accurate count for meal purposes. Remember, all elected e-board members must attend one of these trainings.
To reserve your spot at one of the training sessions or for more information on any of these events please contact Tasha Warfield, Assistant Director of Campus Life for Diversity and Leadership Programming at warfield@sxu.edu or x3166.
