10 a.m. Monday-Friday for publication the next morning.
Our goal is to publish articles in Saint Xavier Today as soon as possible. To achieve this, we ask that you submit articles sooner than later to allow us to plan upcoming issues. The only exception to the deadline will be emergency items that pertain to the safety of the university community. For all other items, the soonest they will be published is two day after they are received. For example, if a submission is received by 10 a.m. Monday, it will usually appear in Wednesday’s issue. We also reserve the right to hold items as needed to ensure their timeliness. Saint Xavier Today is published by University Relations for faculty, staff, students and alumni of Saint Xavier University. Saint Xavier Today is published daily during the academic year and weekly between semesters.
Submissions to Saint Xavier Today may include feature articles; event items; notes about faculty research, published articles or manuscripts and lectures; and faculty or staff quotes in external publications or broadcasts. We are also interested in tips you wish to share with your colleagues, such as health tips, public safety tips, workplace tips, computer tips, and tips on how the newsletter can be improved.
“Illuminations of the Heart” is coordinated by the Mission and Heritage Committee of Saint Xavier University. All University community members are welcome to submit an inspirational prayer, song, poem, or quote to Wanda Manning at manning@sxu.edu.
Items for publication must include a name and phone number or e-mail address. Articles will be published once and may be edited for length and clarity.
