In Spring 2007, Saint Xavier University began the “SXU Voices and Visions Speaker Series” as part of the school’s yearlong 160th anniversary celebration of education, faith and service. The series is dedicated to bringing respected public figures and the highest level of discourse to the Chicago area.

April 10, 2007: Madeleine K. Albright delighted audience members with anecdotes and thoughts from her career leading up to serving as the first female U.S. Secretary of State. She also offered her own personal observations on topics ranging from Iraq to the next presidential election before answering questions from the audience. |
