Personal Web Sites

The Office of Web Development is not responsible for the creation or maintenance of content hosted within the Web space of any individual faculty, staff or student including those of student organizations. Web Development may provide branded templates for optional use by individuals and student organizations at the discretion of the director.

Content specific to an individual or student organization, including instructional content such as syllabi, individual course schedules or faculty credentials, are expected to be hosted on the self-maintained Web site of the individual or organization.

The following disclaimer must be placed on the Web sites of faculty, staff and student organizations:

Support for Personal Sites

Online documentation is available for Web Files and support can be obtained by contacting the Help Desk by phone at (773) 298-3291 or at techhelp@sxu.edu.  In addition, faculty have the further option of contacting the Center for Academic Technology for upcoming training and workshop information or personal consultation.
