The Women & Gender Studies Program at Saint Xavier offers a multidisciplinary perspective on the diverse experiences and contributions of women, and on issues related to gender.
Courses focus upon cultural identities, social roles, collective history, and literary and artistic traditions.
This program, by integrating the study of women and gender into the curriculum, will introduce students to new fields of research and scholarship.
Students may earn a minor in Women & Gender Studies by completing 18 hours (six courses) of women and gender studies courses. A major in this program is not currently offered.
