CPR Instruction for Healthcare Providers
The Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers course will train participants to save the lives of victims in cardiac arrest through high-quality CPR.
This American Heart Association designed course prepares participants to know how to perform CPR in both in- and out-of-hospital settings. The course also covers use of an automated external defibrillator (AED), as well as rescue techniques for adult, children, and infants.
Courses are scheduled from 8 a.m. to noon on Thurs., Jan. 2, Fri., Jan. 3, Thurs., Jan. 9, and Fri., Jan. 17 at Campus Media Center 107 (parking lot 5).
The course costs $40 for SXU students, employees and alumni, and $50 for community members. The price includes the required study guide. Full payment is required at the time of reservation/book pick-up. Participants should bring a photo ID to training sessions.
