Saint Xavier University is pleased to offer the Summer Logic Dual Credit Course. The course is open to high school students in grades 11-12 and will introduce students to key logical concepts and their application. Logic, or the study of reasoning, is a discipline that examines what it means to think and reason well. The course will introduce students to different types of argument, including deductive and inductive reasoning. In addition, students will learn how to identify arguments and assess whether an argument is a good or bad argument through lecture by our faculty and collaborative group work. The course will be held every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from June 3 through July 3.
