High school students can receive an introduction into the ever-growing profession of speech-language pathology in a dual credit course at Saint Xavier University. This course provides an introduction to human communication and its disorders and how they can be treated by speech-language pathologists. Students will visit Saint Xavier's Ludden Speech and Language Clinic, which is available to the public as a service, and a simulation lab, as well as explore tools that are used for treatments. Classes are held every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from July 8-17, 2019.

This one-credit hour course, CSDI 101: Introduction to the Speech-Language Pathology Profession, is reserved for high school students who are at least junior-level students.
The cost of attending the camp is $100 per student.

A parent/guardian must also fill out and send in our SXU Summer Camp Health Form (PDF) for any summer camp or program. This form must be completed and returned to Auxiliary Services at least one week prior to the start of camp. Please fill out one form per participant.
