Graduate Education | Teacher Leader Endorsement

The Teacher Leader Endorsement program at Saint Xavier University prepares licensed teachers to assume expanded leadership roles in their schools in such roles as department chair, instructional coach, grade-level leader, curriculum specialist or professional development specialist.

Teacher leaders contribute to a variety of educational settings by providing curriculum planning guidance, effective training and professional development opportunities, and competent and compassionate leadership in support of teachers for the overall betterment of the school or district.

SXU's Teacher Leader Endorsement program is available for teachers who hold a valid teaching license and a master's degree in any field. The program is 100% online and requires 17 credit hours, which can be completed in three semesters.
