Forensic and Investigative Accounting Certificate

The MBA Program is being sunset. Deadline for new applications is March 10, 2023. Courses must be completed by Summer 2025.

The demand for accounting students who have a specialized qualification in fraud and forensic accounting has grown significantly and various studies indicate that the demand for well-trained fraud and forensic accountants will likely continue to grow.

The Forensic and Investigative Accounting MBA program will not only prepare students for the Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certification, but will also assist students to complete the needed hours for the CPA. The Forensic and Investigative Accounting concentration gives our students another option in the field, compared with our Financial Fraud Examination and Management concentration.

The demand for individuals who have a specialized qualification in forensic and investigative accounting -- as well as with skills and experience in fraud examination and management -- has grown significantly and various studies indicate that the demand for well-trained fraud and forensic accountants will likely continue to grow.

The Forensic and Investigative Accounting concentration gives our students another option in the field, compared with our Financial Fraud Examination and Management concentration.
