Yue Ma

Yue Ma joined Saint Xavier University in 2012. As the director at the Center for Instructional Design and Academic Technology (CIDAT), she is responsible for administrative leadership for CIDAT staff members and student workers. Ma has a deep passion for online education. She works closely with SXU faculty to develop on-campus and online courses at both the graduate and undergraduate levels.

Ma is also working on her online Ed.D. degree in Instructional System Technology (IST) and minoring in Adult Education at Indiana University Bloomington. She completed her M.S. in IST from Indiana University Bloomington. She also holds a B.A. in Management and in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language from Beijing Normal University, Zhuhai.

Molly Caldera
Graphic Instructional Designer/LMS Administrator

Molly Caldera creates graphic images and other visual aids for online courses, trainings and organizations that utilize Canvas as a learning management system. Previously, Caldera was the technology operations manager for CIDAT and has worked with campus technology at SXU since 2007. In 2016, she completed her master's degree in media communication from Webster University.

Nathaly Gal
LMS Administrator/Junior Instructional Designer

As a Saint Xavier University alumna, Nathaly Gal joined CIDAT in 2017 as the learning management system (LMS) administrator and junior instructional designer. She specializes in supporting faculty with the campus's learning management system, Canvas, and also collaborates with faculty on course development. She enjoys hosting workshop sessions to showcase LMS features and University-provided software. Gal believes that technology fosters a community to engage faculty and students in the online environment.

Gal is currently completing an MBA in Project Management. She aspires to continue her education in the instructional design field.
