History Suggested Four-Year Academic Plan

120 credit hours are required for Bachelor of Arts degree. The study of history involves the acquisition of knowledge and understanding, cultivation of perspective, and development of communication and critical-thinking skills. Coursework includes the study of American, European, and Non-Western History as well as a variety of special topics in the discipline. Detailed course information can be found in the academic catalog. Students should use Academic Planning to schedule courses and track degree progress.

History Minor

Students must complete 18 credit hours in history including:

  • and four additional history courses
