Philosophy Learning Outcomes
Courses taken in fulfillment of the major in Philosophy will be assessed with regards to four learning objectives:

  1. Students will recognize historical approaches to traditional philosophical problems
  2. Students will demonstrate an ability to analyze and evaluate logical arguments
  3. Students will demonstrate an ability to interpret, construct, and evaluate philosophical arguments
  4. Students will complete research on a topic of significant philosophical interest
