Transfer Admission

Admitted Transfer and Adult Students

Once a student has completed their application to Saint Xavier University and has sent all official transcripts needed to be reviewed, our Office of Admission and Admission Committee will review applications on a consistent basis.

For those students who have been admitted to Saint Xavier University, congratulations! We are excited to welcome you to the SXU community. Your next steps would be the following:

  1. Contact the Transfer Student Services Center at 773-298-3510 or to schedule an academic advising appointment: All students admitted to SXU must first meet with an advisor to determine what classes have transferred in and what courses you would still need to take to complete your Bachelor's degree. As soon as you are admitted, contact the Transfer Center to schedule this appointment. Appointments over the phone are also offered.
  2. File your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid): File for federal, state and institutional financial aid through the FAFSA website. If you have already filed your FAFSA, simply login and add SXU's school code (001768) so that we can receive your results.
  3. Submit your Tuition Deposit: Once you have been admitted, students are advised to submit a $100 tuition deposit to guarantee their spot in their courses for the upcoming semester. This deposit would go towards your tuition and guarantees your admission to SXU.
