Dr. Schweickart holds doctorates in Philosophy and Mathematics and teaches philosophy at Loyola University Chicago. His primary areas of research are social and political philosophy, philosophy and economics and Marxism. He also has major interests in feminist theory, existentialism, critical theory and race and racism. Dr. Schweickart has published extensively on these topics, with his work translated into Chinese, Spanish, French, Norwegian, Slovak, Farsi, and Catalan. He is the author of several books, including After Capitalism (Rowman & Littlefield, 2011).
