Justice Reyes will discuss his journey to the bench, the importnace of diversity in the legal profession and the Appellate Court's role in Illinois judiciary.
The talk will be moderated by Tracy Crump, Criminal Justice assistant professor and director of African-American Studies, with introductions made by Iman Saca, chair of the Sociology, Anthropology and Criminal Justice Department.
