The Department of Campus Life sponsors programs and services designed to enhance students' involvement in the SXU community, thus supporting their academic, social and community engagement. Campus Life oversees: class programs, student activities and Registered Student Organizations (RSOs), as well as leadership and multicultural programs. Within each of these areas, we seek to provide resources, programs and services that enrich and support students' educational experiences, help them develop positive connections with peers, staff and faculty and to become active and engaged members of the SXU community. By participating in the events, programs, trainings and services offered by the Department of Campus Life, students learn to create programs and services for their peers and grow and develop as life-long learners and leaders.
Leadership includes both individual and organizational leadership development activities, such as direct advisement and supervision of RSOs and student leadership positions as well as trainings and workshops.
Multicultural Programs offered by the Department include heritage month celebrations and multicultural programming for the entire SXU community.
Student Activities supports and advises all of our Registered Student Organizations, including Saint Xavier Council (SXC), our main student government, finance and program board.
