These figures are based on cases reported to the SXU Health Center. A care coordinator within the SXU Health Center will conduct contact tracing for known positive COVID-19 cases and communicate accordingly to those who may have come into contact with the infected person. Any close contacts will have already been notified before any cases are published on this page.

As a reminder, close contact is defined as being within 6 feet of an infected person for 15 minutes or more. Those who had brief, casual contact with an infected individual are not considered at great risk of transmission and do not need to quarantine. As always, everyone should monitor their health and stay at home if they develop symptoms. Anyone who develops severe symptoms should seek medical care immediately. Please call the Health Center at 773-298-3712 with any questions.

Please see our Coronavirus and Return to Campus web pages or our COVID-19 Confirmed/Presumed Case and Contact Tracing Guide (PDF) for more information about our COVID-19 protocols.

We appreciate your cooperation of these efforts in support of the health and safety of our campus community.
