Sheryl O'Sullivan has been an elementary teacher and principal as well as a professor of teacher education during her career. Her academic publications include four books and numerous articles. In addition, O'Sullivan has published several works for children in such magazines as "Cricket." Besides her degrees in education, she also holds a master's degree in theology and ethics. She and her husband own a tiny cottage in County Clare, Ireland, where they spend their summers.
