Nicole Neises is the associate director of Student Support in the Center for Learning and Student Support. She started at Saint Xavier University in April 2023. Neises was born and raised in Oak Lawn and is quite excited to be a part of the SXU community. She spent many years in the medical field before making the switch to higher education, and she is quite happy that she made the career change.
Neises earned her bachelor's degree in social work from Lewis University in Romeoville in 2021 and her master's degree in social work from Loyola University Chicago in 2022. She is also a licensed social worker in the state of Illinois. Neises resides locally on the South Side with her boyfriend, Kyle, and their two cats, Peanut and Lily. She's also a Cubs fan!
Neises' role as associate director of Student Support will be assisting students with finding housing and food insecurity, book insecurity, and other resources for non-academic needs that may be affecting their academic performance at SXU. She will also work with the center's two academic support coaches to assist students' academic needs.
Neises is more than happy to assist all students of SXU! Her door is always open, and everyone is welcome!
