I'm Diana Barraza Ontiveros, and I am the multilingual writing specialist in the Learning Center at Saint Xavier University.
I received my B.A. from the Autonomous University of Chihuahua in Spanish and my M.A. in Spanish from New Mexico State University (NMSU). I have experience as an instructor and tutor at New Mexico State University, where I taught courses such as Composition and Grammar. I worked as a one-on-one tutor for the Languages and Linguistics Department at NMSU for more than two years, assisting students to improve their reading comprehension and understanding of the writing process (including from brainstorming to revising and editing). I am also part of the academic magazine Arenas Blancas' Editorial Committee, where I assist with coordination, editing and design.
I am very excited to serve the community of Saint Xavier University with their writing needs, so please don't hesitate to contact me!
