Biography
I'm Sara Bellus, and I am the math specialist in the Center for Learning and Student Support at Saint Xavier University.
Having worked previously as a Math Teacher and Department Head at Phoenix Military Academy. While there, I taught Geometry, Pre-Calculus, and everything in between. I have also worked as a one-on-one tutor for a number of years, focusing mostly on math, test prep, and executive functioning skills. I graduated from UIC with a degree in Teaching of Math, and I hold endorsements in Mathematics, Secondary Education, and Physics. I am excited to help further Saint Xavier's mission and vision. I have a strong commitment to equal educational access for all, particularly for communities who are traditionally underserved and for those who experience barriers to higher education.
I am available to tutor in several areas of math, and I look forward to working with you!
