Biography

Kelly Rayburn is an associate professor in SXU's School of Nursing and Health Sciences (SONHS). She has been a nurse for almost 30 years, spending the past 25 years in women and children's health. Rayburn started teaching nine years ago after earning her master's degree in nursing education. She has a passion for teaching and truly enjoys working with the students to ensure they have the tools and resources needed to be successful nurses after they graduate. She enjoys spending time with her family and four beautiful granddaughters. She loves traveling and hiking in the mountains of Colorado.
