Alejandra Sandoval is a specialist in the Student Success Program. Serving as an educator and advocate for students from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, Sandoval has a passion for disrupting and dismantling educational inequities in student outcomes.
Sandoval received her Bachelor of Arts in political science, Spanish, and human rights advocacy from the University of Iowa and her MAT from Dominican University. Before joining SXU, she served as a Chicago Public School teacher for four years.
Sandoval is the proud daughter of immigrant parents and identifies as a first-generation Latina. She enjoys spending quality time with family, fitness and donuts. Fun fact: She is Bad Bunny's number one fan.
