SXU's Jacquelyn Arcy published article Feminist Media Studies

Saint Xavier University's (SXU) Communication Department Professor Jacquelyn Arcy, Ph.D., published an article entitled, "Emotion work: Considering gender in digital labor" in Feminist Media Studies 16(2). The article explores gendered labor in digital media. Drawing upon feminist theories of "women's work," this piece proposes a new direction for research in media studies that analyzes how gender stereotypes are manifested on social networks.
