SXU's Ruth Hansen contributes chapter to 2016 Giving USA Report

Saint Xavier University's (SXU) Corporate, Government & Foundation Relations Interim Director Ruth Hansen contributed a chapter on "Giving by Bequests" to the 2016 Giving USA. Giving USA: The Annual Report on Philanthropy, published by the Giving USA Foundation™, is an annual report on charitable giving in the USA. Hansen's chapter draws from the most recent information available on charitable bequests from IRS estate tax records, reports on recent legal changes to estate tax law and the availability of giving from IRA accounts, and summarizes recent research on charitable bequests. The report, usually released in June, will be available later this year.
