SXU hosts Courage to Quit® Program

Date:12/09/2016

Do you have the Courage to Quit® smoking?

It takes so much courage to quit smoking, but you don’t have to go it alone. Let our trained facilitators from the Saint Xavier University Health Center guide you through the Respiratory Health Association’s Courage to Quit® program.

Who Can Participate: Any SXU student, staff, and/or faculty member over the age of 18. Community members over 18 years old are also welcome.

What is the Program: Courage to Quit® is a six-session program that is held weekly (with one skip week) in order to create a supportive group environment. Each participant will receive a program manual. There is no need to quit before the program starts; the quit-date is during Week 3. Not sure if this program is for you? Come to the first session and if you don’t feel like it will be effective for you we’ll recommend other resources.
