News Alert: SXU’s President Christine Wiseman quoted in Daily Southtown for hosting IBHE Press Conference

Saint Xavier University (SXU) recently hosted a press conference for the Illinois Board of Higher Education (IBHE) to announce a new partnership between IBHE, the Council for Adult and Experiential Learning, and four Illinois regional communities that were awarded a $238,100 grant aimed at aligning higher education programs with workforce needs identified by in-demand industries. SXU President Christine Wiseman was quoted in the Friday, Sept. 30 issue of the Daily Southtown. In the article, President Wiseman expressed hope that the south Chicago region would pursue the same funding and study program in the near future.
