SXU’s Meg Carroll provides professional development to local educators

Saint Xavier University's (SXU) School of Education (SOE) Professor Meg Carroll, Ed.D., recently conducted a workshop on Formative Assessment for the Busy High School Teacher at Our Lady of Tepeyac High School in Little Village on Friday, February 10, employing formative assessment strategies during the workshop. Later that same day, she presented to the paraprofessionals of Elementary School District 118 in Palos Park with a presentation entitled, "What Is the Big Idea about Serving Students with Disabilities?" On Thursday, February 23, Prof. Carroll presented to the full faculty of Saint Edward High School in Elgin with a presentation entitled, "What Do We Know about English Learners at the High School Level?"
