SXU ranked second safest private or non-profit college in the state

Saint Xavier University (SXU) was recently ranked among the top safest private or non-profit four-year colleges in the state of Illinois. The report was featured on both NBC 5 Chicago and WGN-TV in April 2017, and was conducted by electronic security company ADT, which tallied crimes reporter by the schools in the categories of violent crime, property crime and violence against women. The report's calculation was used to determine the "safest" schools in every state. SXU was runner up to Northeastern Illinois University and was followed by Dominican University.
