Explore the next exhibit of SXU’s UpFall Art Station

Date:07/17/2018

Saint Xavier University's (SXU) Art and Design Department developed the UpFall Art Station for SXU students, faculty, staff and alumni to share their artwork with the neighboring communities.

A top feature this month is The Process of Change, which is a series composed of screenprints by James Miller, a current SXU student. Miller was previously featured in the gallery's opening exhibit, showcasing visual portraiture that he says, "strays from truth and strict representation, entering the realm of beauty for beauty's sake." His current exhibit features prints that touch on current social and political events.

Learn more about this exhibit and more at the gallery, located at 1767 W 95th Street, Chicago, 60643. The third show, featuring the works of Nathan Peck and James Miller, will conclude with a closing reception on July 27 from 5 to 9 p.m.

Gallery Hours
Thursdays 6 - 11 p.m.
Saturdays 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Sundays 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

A new art exhibit will open every two weeks to feature the creative works of students and alumni. The gallery also features a weekly event called the Time and Place Art Jam, which takes place Thursday evenings and fosters a creative environment for students and the community to join together to blend their artistic styles, whether that be through music, painting or other forms of art.
