Leadershop: Leadership Opportunities @ SXU

This leadership workshop is designed to introduce you to the leadership opportunities that exist at Saint Xavier University and beyond! Learn how to develop yourself as a leader and market yourself and your leadership experience to potential employers while in school and after graduation. First-Generation College Student Panel
October 8, 2020, 2 p.m.
Join a panel of first-generation staff, faculty, and students as they discuss their experiences navigating college and careers and receive advice from individuals who were the first in their families to attend college. Virtual College to Career Expo (Fall 2020)
November 4, 2020, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The purpose of the College to Career Expo is to connect quality candidates with employers and organizations recruiting for pre-professional, professional, and educational experiences including internships, volunteer experiences, graduate and professional school opportunities as well as part-time and full-time jobs. Virtual Cougar Career Chats
Wednesdays, 1 p.m.
The Center for SUCCESS hosts a weekly Cougar Career Chat to assist students with their career development needs including resume and cover letter assistance, job search guidance, networking tips, and more! Students can review event information as well as register for these events through Handshake.
Students can attend a variety of events across the University to make progress toward their Cougars LEAD Leadership Certificate. Events that fit within one of the five areas of the certificate may count as credit. Explore university-wide events both on The Den and the University Calendar. The Center for SUCCESS is directly connected to thousands of approved organizations in Handshake. These organizations host weekly webinars, information sessions, job fairs, and other career events. Students with a Handshake account are welcome to explore these events and connect with these organizations.
