Residence Hall Ministers

Residence Hall Ministry

Hall ministers and resident peer ministers welcome you to the Saint Xavier University residence community!

Residence hall ministers are professional graduate assistants living side by side with resident students in O'Brien Hall, Pacelli Hall and the Quad Halls. Resident peer ministers (RPMs) are student ministry leaders selected to assist the graduate assistants in their ministry.

Res Hall

Hall ministers and resident peer ministers accompany, encourage and support students in personal growth and spiritual development. They provide a listening ear, a caring support and a warm welcome to all students. Grounded in Christianity, hall ministers and RPMs affirm the diversity of traditions within the campus community and encourage all students to actively live their faith.

Hall ministers and resident peer ministers work together closely with Residence Life staff to create an environment that facilitates healthy living, academic advancement, spiritual growth and social interaction. Res Hall Together, they form the University Housing staff, sharing in the mission to build inclusive community that fosters mutual respect and group responsibility.

All students, commuter and resident, are welcome to contact the hall ministers and resident peer ministers and participate in resident hall ministry programs and services
