Squeaky Weal Lecture Series
As a Catholic university attentive to the interplay between faith and civic life, Saint Xavier supports the Center for Religion and Public Discourse, sponsor of the Squeaky Weal Lecture Series. Launched in 2001, this lecture series promotes thoughtful consideration and civil discourse on the religious, moral and/or ethical implications of public issues, with a consistent focus on the common good.
All lectures are free and open to the public. The lectures usually start at 6:30 p.m. at the University's campus, 3700 W. 103rd Street in Butler Reception Room.
Selected Squeaky Weal lectures (2002-2017) are available in DVD format from the Robert and Mary Rita Murphy Stump Library at Saint Xavier University. Titles may be viewed at the Library's website. DVDs may be borrowed for a week or viewed at the library.
