Residence Hall Ministers

Residence Hall Ministry

Campus Ministry extends its presence into the Residence Halls through both live-on staff members and student leaders. Two Graduate Assistant Ministers (GAs) a team of Resident Peer Ministers (RPMs) are spread amongst the different residence halls to ensure that the spirit and programming of Campus Ministry reach all of our students.

GAs and RPMs accompany, encourage and support students in personal growth and spiritual development. They provide a listening ear, a caring support and a warm welcome to all students. Grounded in Christianity, hall ministers and RPMs affirm the diversity of traditions within the campus community and encourage all students to actively live their faith.

Both the Graduate Assistant Ministers and the Resident Peer Ministers work together closely with Residence Life staff to create an environment that facilitates healthy living, academic advancement, spiritual growth and social interaction. Together, they form the University Housing staff, sharing in the mission to build inclusive community that fosters mutual respect and group responsibility. Res Hall

All students, commuter and resident, are welcome to contact the GAs and RPMs and participate in resident hall ministry programs and services.
