Math Tutoring

Additional math support and assistance provided by the Mathematics Department is available in The Math Center located in the Warde Academic Center (WAC), Room S-102. Math tutoring and computer access in WAC S-102 is free and available on a walk-in basis. No appointments are necessary. Students are requested to sign-in upon arrival as a record of usage.

Tutoring is available for students in all MATH 090-level, MATH 100-level, MATH 200, MATH 201 (Calculus I) and MATH 202 (Calculus II) courses. Students may come with specific questions for assistance or just to have a quiet place to work.

Computers are available in WAC S-102 to mathematics students for completing assignments using programs such as MyMathLab, StatCrunch, Maple, Mathematica, GeoGebra, and Minitab.

Tutors are teaching assistants or mathematics majors who have completed at least two semesters of coursework and usually more than 16 credit-hours of mathematics courses.

Math tutoring in WAC S-102 is available on a walk-in basis -- no appointments are necessary.
